What's Happening at The Dragon's Nest.

January 4-8, 2017

Last lease was one of our best ever. So many faithful customers and so much praise. Emily wants to send out a special thank you to the many people that donated toys to the toy museum this Hogswatch. The Dragon's Toy Museum is located in the sampan shop in the south-east most part of Bes Pelargic. The Dragon's Nest on Pallant is open again for another Disc year, ready to supply you with all those fun little oddities and useful items you have come to expect from our shop.

May 6-10, 2016

We are looking forward to another great term. With Emily having been recently appointed as the Guild Mistress of the Thieve's Guild, she may not be sitting in the shop as often. She is still just as happy to take requests and run up to the shop to negotiate transactions. If you are looking for covert teaching or language lessons, she may most often be found in the Dragon's Nest or in the foyer of the Ankh-Morpork Theives Guild. Even when not in those places she is only a 'tell' away. Feel free to ask her.

Despite the term's bidding fiasco, we still managed to still turn a profit. Emily had really expected it was going to be a loss term. Selling a couple Shelox items really helped.

Well! This was one of the more painful auctions in a while... Over 68k with the taxes. This season's lease will most likely be a loss but we are still so very happy to be able to continue to be of service to our loyal customers. We look forward to chatting with you and hunting for those little things that make life on the disc that little bit easier and so much more interesting.

Coming Soon! The Dragon's Toy Museum and Gift Shop will be open soon. The museum will be in the Sampan shop a little way south-east of Lover's Lane in Bes Pelargic. Come see Emily's collection of dolls and toys from around the disc and featured display of Hogswatch toys.

We are delighted to have won back our shop. In honour of the steal of a deal we got getting it back and as our way to say thank you to our dear customers, we ran a $10 sale for a week and a half. Everything $10 or less and many mystery presents for a$10. Some even had a hidden royal!

The Dragon Shops Partnership is also pleased to announce the opening of a new specialty shop in Brass Neck, The Dragon's Wardrobe. Though this shop is in a small and out of the way location, we feel sure you will want to travel here to inspect our fine collection of rare and unusal apparel. Items of apparel from Moonlight Market, the Shonky Shop, Smuggler's, unique NPC apparel and more.

As part of the Dragon Shops Partnership, Booger has purchased the shop on Golden Sow in Bes Pelargic. We have named this one The Dragon's Ring. Dtrain (of Blorp's Inc in Ohulan Cutash) will be running this shop and selling his high end selection of blorps. If you are looking for more durable rose rhodonite rin blorps, this is THE place to shop for them.

As part of the Dragon Shops Partnership, Gnu won the lease for the player  shop in Escrow. The Undead Dragon in Escrow is a safe haven form vampires and priniciply stocks scrolls.

MotherGoose has aquired the lease for The Illuminated Teapot on Welcome Soap in Ankh-Morpork. Nefret and Fole will be continuing on as proprietors with the added help of our own MotherGoose. If you dont find MG's teas at our Dragon shops, be sure to check at the Illuminated Teapot.

The Dragon's Nest again negotiates a new lease and, despite the recent changes by the AM Council increasing shop taxes to 9900%, reaquires the shop.

The Dragon's Nest now has a bank branch counter for The People's Bank of Klatch.  The People's Bank of Klatch has seven branches discwide. Refer Leyan for the most current list.  We also have a moneychanging counter, making it easy to exchange coins and deposit to your PBoK account all in one stop.  Our Bank Manager is Ohm.

The lease expires and a bidding war begins against Masume to reclaim the shop. It's an expensive hobby but we do love this shop. We are open yet again for our third term of business on Pallant.

Thoughts kindly sells the remaining five month lease to Emily for the Pallant Street Shop. We are back in business at our original location! Unfortunately counters have been trashed. Emily spends several days boosting her funds to afford not just a $11,000 large shop counter that stocks up to 150 items, but spends an additional $6500 to get one that has a 150 item stock room (waiting list).  The restocking begins!

After nine round world months of fun, the lease runs out on the shop. 

We had hoped to repurchase the shop but rw commitments prevented us returning in time for the auction close. We wish all the best to the new shop owners Ism and Ixtlan at 'Tanglefoot Trading Company'.

We are considering other venues for the Dragon's Nest including the possibilitie of running out of Emily's home.

The shop is bought by Ms Emily von Schaf and renamed to The Dragon's Nest.

After more than three disc years of trying to get a shop in Ankh-Morpork, Ms Emily von Schaf is pleased to open the doors to The Dragon's Nest on Pallant Street.  Conveniently located near Hlakett's 'The Rat Hole'. We look forward to supplying all of your exping needs from quest supplies, to portals and healing.  In addition, a little corner has been set aside for Ms Em to relax, craft a bit, and teach covert skills.
